Are you looking for the Peace of God?
A few years back… Okay. More than a few years back, there was a song that included the line “Don’t worry. Be ____.” Do you remember? It seemed to indicate that a joyful attitude was the opposite of worry.
That’s not what God says.
Phil. 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
God clearly says, “Don’t worry. Be PRAYERFUL. Then, you’ll get peace.”
